Pink Tourmaline and Freshwater Pearl Earrings
I love these pink tourmaline sugar loaves. Their glow is hard to resist! What, you might ask, is a sugar loaf? It’s a style of gem cutting that looks a bit like a soft pyramid with a rounded point at the top. As with other cabochon cuts the bottom is flat. This cut is a particular favorite of mine. I adore the sculptural quality of it as well as the way light plays inside the gem.
These freshwater pearls are over the top gorgeous. Their luster is so intense it appears almost metallic. Their peachy-pink color really complements the color of the tourmalines. This pair of earrings is strictly one of a kind.
